Question: Did Jesus baptize anyone?
Yes: Jn. 3:22 - "After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized."
No: Jn. 4:2 - "Though Jesus himself baptized not, but his disciples."
Response: John 3:22 (NIV) says "After this, Jesus and his disciples went out into the Judean countryside, where he spent some time with them, and baptized." And John 4:2 (NIV) says "although in fact it was not Jesus who baptized, but his disciples." Given the proximity of the two verses, I would think that John meant that Jesus was with his disciples while his disciples were baptizing people in John 3:22, and that Jesus himself was not baptizing people.
